Having trouble opening it?
Windows: Windows may show a SmartScreen message for a new independent publisher. Before continuing, make sure the installer came from the official Nousvara release link or from us at contact@nousvara.com. When the file and source are verified, choose “More info”, then “Run anyway”.
macOS: The first time, right-click the Swaro app and choose Open, then click Open again. Or go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click “Open Anyway”. Grant Microphone and Accessibility permissions when asked.

Questions, answered plainly
Is it really offline?
Yes. After the one-time model download, all speech and text processing happens on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.
Will it run on my older laptop?
Very likely. Swaro needs no graphics card and runs on a 12-year-old laptop. Pick a smaller speech model for older machines and a larger one for the best accuracy; the app recommends one for your hardware. Try it free for 14 days before you pay anything.
Do I have to pay every year?
No. It is a one-time payment of $29 for a lifetime license.
Which systems does it support?
Windows 10 and 11, and macOS on Apple Silicon (M1 and later). Intel-based Macs are not supported at the moment.
What does the free trial include?
Every feature, for 14 days, with no credit card required.
How do I activate my license?
Your license is tied to your device for privacy and anti-piracy. Paste your device code from Settings → License when you buy. We email you a license key for that device within 24 hours — paste or import it in the License tab to activate. If you left the device code out at checkout, email it to contact@nousvara.com with your order number.
Who processes the payment?
A third-party payment provider, named at checkout, handles the payment and sends your receipt. Nousvara never sees or stores your card number.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. Full refund within 14 days of purchase, for any reason. One refund per customer, and the free trial is there to evaluate before you buy. Read the full refund policy.
