Everything is racing to take your data. We build so it stays yours

Nousvara makes tools with a simple promise: your data belongs to you, not to us or anyone else. No forced cloud, no lock-in, no account required to use what you own. That's not nostalgia — it's a bet that private software is exactly what a lot of people and companies actually need, and it's the thread that ties every tool here together.

What we stand for

What every Nousvara tool tries to be

Your data stays yours

Your words, notes and files belong to you. The core of most tools needs no account and takes nothing from you to function. Privacy isn't a setting — it's the default, because we don't build to collect your data.

Useful without heavy requirements

Built to be useful without demanding powerful hardware or a constant connection. Most of the world isn't on the newest setup, and good software shouldn't require one. If it needs a supercomputer to feel fast, it isn't finished.

Solves one real problem

Each tool comes from a problem someone genuinely has — often one we've hit ourselves — and stays focused on it, instead of growing into everything for everyone.

Honest by default

Fair pricing, clear limits and honest labels. No dark patterns, no lock-in, no fake discounts, and no claims before a product is ready for people to use.

The method

We work a way called Unlearn First

The values above aren't a mood — they come out of a method. Before building anything we question the assumptions first, including our own comfortable defaults. The whole of it fits one line: first look, then think, then do — and check whether it actually worked. Understand the problem, solve it, grow from it, then repeat.

It isn't only how Nousvara builds. It's a way anyone can think through a product, a decision or a hard problem, and the whole method is free to read.

If that matches how you think about software

Try a tool, or tell us about a problem worth solving this way.
